Frequently Asked Questions

First of all, your project will be assigned a project manager, who will oversee everything from start to finish. After discussing your project with you, the project manager will assign a team of translators, proofreaders, and industry-expert proofreaders, and work alongside them to maintain quality control, and get the project completed. Then, the project manager will deliver the project to you, and ensure that you are satisfied with the results. Visit our approach.

We can find a qualified translator for any language combination you need, no problem!

We accept most document formats! You can upload your project to our site, or you can email it to us. We have in-house engineers that can re-create the layout of your project and return it to you in the same format in which you sent it. Visit our desktop publishing section.

Price is calculated based on several factors, but we can guarantee you that we provide a good price for the high quality work you are receiving. When calculating price, we consider the source language and target language(s), how technical the subject matter is, the turnaround time, and any additional services such as proofreading and publishing.

Our average rate is 2000 words per day. However this can vary depending on the difficulty of the text and amount of research necessary to complete the translation. It also depends on whether there are other services the translator needs to complete, such as project management or preparation and formatting of documents.

No problem! We are available 24/7 for all of your emergency translation needs. Visit our emergency support page.

CAT stands for Computer-Assisted Translation. We use Atril’s Déjà Vu X3 and Déjà Vu TEAMserver systems, which use translation language databases to store the translator’s work for future use and reference. Using these tools makes us more efficient and productive in our work, helping you receive your translations even faster. Visit our computer-assisted translation section.

No problem! We have certified translators who can do the job for you. Because the translator has to work from the original hard copy document and provide the same, the work requires a slightly longer turnaround time (usually two to three days more) than for non-certified translations. Visit our information on certification.

All of our translators are qualified and certified, and they have many years of experience in their specialized industries. After being completed by one translator, all projects are also proofread and revised by a second professional translator or proofreader to ensure that nothing slips through the cracks. We always deliver the level of quality that is required by the client, based on the client brief. Visit our section on proofreading.

Yes, we work on projects of all lengths and all languages. Your long-term projects will be managed by the same person over time, and properly archived so that no work is ever misplaced.

We can accommodate all turnaround requirements. However, keep in mind that turnaround time, price, and quality are interrelated. Quality and price will be affected when there is a quick turnaround.
