Powerling Obtains New Quality Certifications

Powerling has always been dedicated to staying up to date with international quality standards.

Now, reaffirming its standing as a provider of quality services, the company has successfully renewed its ISO 9001:2008 and EN 15038:2006 certifications through KIWA

The ISO 9001:2008 certification guarantees standardization of quality and practices among international companies while the EN 15038:2006 certification guarantees a client-oriented approach. The certifications are “not just a status symbol for us,” said Ditta Pater, Powerling’s Quality Assurance Manager. “[They help] us to obtain and more importantly maintain client satisfaction by continually improving our processes.” This push for progress is what keeps Powerling ahead of the game.

Powerling was actually one of the very first adopters of EN 15038, and has been getting its certifications renewed and staying up to date with quality standards for years. According to Pater, renewing registrations at this particular point in time was “a means of ensuring consistency” throughout the international company — all of Powerling’s offices are now following the same procedures. What really needs to come through is our strategic decision to become global and to offer the same quality service everywhere,” she said. As the company is growing and expanding worldwide, it remains focused on what they consider most important — serving their clients to the best of their abilities.

Powerling also holds membership with the French Chamber of Translation Companies (CNET), the European Union of Associations of Translation Companies (EUATC), and VViN, the association helping improve quality and professionalism of translation businesses in the Netherlands. Along with the ISO 9001:2008 and EN 15038:2006 registrations, these memberships demonstrate the company’s strive for quality in all it does.
